A catalogue of every car service business in Cyprus — garages, tyre shops, car washes, body shops and authorised MOT centres — with the facts you actually need before you hand over your keys.

It is built and run by one person in Limassol. It is not a startup and it is not trying to become one.

Where the data comes from

Two open sources, both credited on every page:

• OpenStreetMap, for the businesses themselves and their locations, under the Open Database Licence.
• The Road Transport Department of Cyprus, for the list of authorised MOT inspection centres.

The Department publishes its list without coordinates, so some businesses sit on a postcode or district centre rather than an exact position. Where that is the case, the page says so. We would rather tell you the location is approximate than send you to the wrong street.

What is different here

Google Maps will tell you a garage exists. It will not tell you whether they can touch an electric car, whether they are authorised to do your MOT, which markets they know, or whether anyone there speaks your language. Those are the questions that decide where you go, and they are what this catalogue is for.

Most of those answers are still missing. They arrive as owners claim their listings and fill them in.

How it is paid for, and what that never buys

Sponsored slots on the home page will be sold at auction. They sit above the catalogue, on their own background, permanently labelled.

They never move a business up the list. The ordering is a rule in the code, and payment is not one of its inputs. If money could reach the ranking, the ranking would be worthless — and so would the thing being sold.

Reviews are not imported from anywhere. Every review here will have been written here, by someone who chose to write it.
